Spring has fully sprung along central Florida’s coast. The last of the cold fronts is behind us and the years warm weather patterns are starting to shape up. It won’t be long now before our summer species like tarpon and big jacks are here off Daytona and New Smyrna Beach and ready to target.
Currently, we are in the final portion of Cobia season, with the last opportunities at fish occurring likely over this coming week or so. Big redfish are beginning their summer patterns and providing some exciting fishing for both spin and fly anglers. This can be one of the most fun times of year to target our resident bull reds!
