Ponce Inlet Fishing Charters - Latest Report by Capt. Billy Rotne

This coming week should bring more consistent spring patterns and steady, stable warm weather as we push through spring and into summer. One last cold front this past weekend should be the end of the cool weather this season.

Big reds have been the most available fish with some nice ones caught this past week in the Ponce Inlet and New Smyrna Beach area. The bite from these fish is only going to improve as our weather patterns get more stable and warmer.

Some of Mosquito Lagoon remains clear and the sight fishing has been pretty good for back country reds.

Cobia season may be winding down as the fish migrate further to the north past Daytona Beach and out of our reach in the coming weeks, but hopefully we will get a few more opportunities this week!
